JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. -- Elizabeth J. Seals, 66, of Johnston City died Monday, July 2, 2007, at the home of a daughter in Vienna, Ill.
She was born Oct. 10, 1940, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of Franklin and Alma Cook Walker. She and Alfred J. Seals were married in May 1958 in Cobden. He preceded her in death.
Seals was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo, Ill., and the Senior Circle Group in Marion, Ill. She was a cashier 25 years at Flagstop Truck Stop in Charleston, Mo.
Survivors include four sons, Alfred Seals of Johnston City, Christopher Seals of Jacksonville, N.C., Michael Seals of Benton, Ill., David Seals of Olive Branch, Ill.; two daughters, Annette Conroy of Vienna, and Colleen Lottie of Springfield, Mo.
Also a brother, Raymond Walker of Carterville, Ill.; four sisters, Stella Farmer of Johnston City, Mary Daniels of Cairo, Ill., Victoria Walker of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Roberta Dellinger of Crainville, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Stevens officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in St. John's Cemetery in Dongola, Ill.
