ELIZABETH S. LENCE

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elizabeth S. Lence, 80, of San Antonio, Texas, died Sunday, May 1, 1994, at Crestway Care Center in San Antonio.

She was born March 24, 1914, in Reynoldsville, daughter of Fred and Nora Harvey Smick. She married Russell Lence, who preceded her in death.

Lence was a retired shoe inspector. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Donald Stout of San Antonio, and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 7-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Larry Shackley officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
