Elizabeth A. Ryan, 26, of Jackson died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 3, 1985, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Mo., to Dennis and Catherine Comte Schumer. She and Frank Ryan were married May 26, 2007, in Perryville, Mo.
Elizabeth was a biologist with the USDA. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Ryan of Jackson; a daughter, Adele Ryan of Jackson; a son, Luke Ryan of Jackson; her parents, Dennis and Catherine Schumer of Perryville; three sisters, Denise (Robert) Broom of Papillion, Neb., Deborah (Tim) Schremp of Perryville, Amanda (Daniel) Pecaut of Perryville; and a brother, Andrew (Anne) Schumer of Chassell, Mich.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Highland. The Rev. Robert Brockland will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be given to a fund for the Ryan children.
