Elizabeth Rosborg, 86, of Jackson passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She had been a resident at Fountainbleau Lodge six months. She was born April 17, 1928, in Hamden, Connecticut, daughter of Raymond and Clara Peterson Frank. She and Walter R. Rosborg were married Sept. 11, 1948. He passed away Feb. 24, 2000...

Elizabeth Rosborg, 86, of Jackson passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She had been a resident at Fountainbleau Lodge six months.

She was born April 17, 1928, in Hamden, Connecticut, daughter of Raymond and Clara Peterson Frank. She and Walter R. Rosborg were married Sept. 11, 1948. He passed away Feb. 24, 2000.

Elizabeth worked at J.C. Penney in Meriden, Connecticut, 20 years before retiring. She moved to Jackson from Wallingford, Connecticut, in 2008. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson six years.

Loving survivors include a son, Walter (Sharon) Rosborg of Jackson; three grandchildren, Erik (Jamie) Rosborg, Teri Rosborg and Angela (Alejandro) Rosborg-Bruno, all of Jackson; five great-grandchildren, who were the love of her life; and four sisters.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Beaverdale Memorial Park Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran School.
