ELIZABETH R. WEHNER

STE. GENEVIEVE -- Elizabeth R. "Betty" Wehner, 67, of Ste. Genevieve, died Sunday, March 26, 1995, at Ste. Genevieve County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1927, at Zell, daughter of Meinrad and Catherine Roth Kettinger. She and William J. Wehner were married Oct. 2, 1948, at Zell. He died April 5, 1958.

Wehner had been a secretary. She was active in crafts, working at Crafters Cove. Dalton's Treasure Chest and the Christmas Shop. She was a member of Church of Ste. Genevieve, American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, and Little Star Extension Club.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Wehner of St. Marys, David Wehner of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ray Kettinger of Zell; three sisters, Marie Schwent of Bloomsdale, Lorraine Kettinger and Christine Huck of Ste. Genevieve; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Basler Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Church of Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. John Seper officiating. Burial will be in Valle Spring Cemetery.
