Elizabeth R. Webb of Cape Girardeau, age 89, died Saturday at her home.
She was born at Craftcolley, Ky., on Sept. 2, 1903, to the late Joseph and Susan Stallard Combs. She was married to Ballard Collier on Oct. 30, 1923; he died in November 1973. She married Caleb Webb on April 10, 1976; he died Jan. 16, 1990.
She is survived by one son, Bennett Collier of Radford, Va.; two daughters, Lavina Cargle of Cape Girardeau and Irene Wood of Oak Harbor, Ohio; three sisters, Alice Morgan of Craftcolley, Ky., Edna Bell Holbrooks of Kentucky and Louise Holbrooks of Virginia; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers and one sister.
She moved to this area in 1982 from Craftcolley, Ky. She was a member of the McRoberts Old Regular Baptist Church of Kentucky.
Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Joe Allen. Burial will be in Passover Cemetery near Whitewater.
