SIKESTON -- Funeral for Elizabeth Pryor of Metropolis, Ill., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry Arnold will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from noon until service time.
Pryor, 97, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis.
She was born Sept. 14, 1901, in Rockport, Ind., daughter of Charles and Caddie Jones Huff.
Pryor did private home care several years and had also worked at Daugherty's Cafe. She attended Smith Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Pryor of Bakersfield, Calif., Lyndell Pryor of Alabama; a daughter, Helen Simmons of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother, and two sisters.
