CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Elizabeth "Nanny" Mungle, 87, of Charleston, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born May 27, 1914, in Pemiscott County, she was the daughter of Walter L. and Cora D. Groom Reynolds and lived most of her life in Mississippi County.
On Oct. 7, 1940, she was married to Edward W. Mungle. He died Sept. 25, 1982.
Survivors include one son, Kendall Mungle of Charleston; one daughter, Carol McCullough of Queen City, Texas; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Kohlbaker of Bertrand officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston .
