BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Elizabeth Ellen "Betty" Lowe, 81, of Salem, Ore., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, in Salem. She was born March 6, 1919, in Nogales, Ariz., daughter of Orville and Bridgett Devine Weaver. She and Dalbert A. Lowe were married June 1, 1940. He died Nov. 18, 1979...

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Elizabeth Ellen "Betty" Lowe, 81, of Salem, Ore., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, in Salem.

She was born March 6, 1919, in Nogales, Ariz., daughter of Orville and Bridgett Devine Weaver. She and Dalbert A. Lowe were married June 1, 1940. He died Nov. 18, 1979.

The Lowes lived in the Bloomfield community 17 years.

Survivors include two sons, Perry Lowe of Dallas, Ore., William Lowe of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mary Cantrell of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
