MOUNDS, Ill. -- Elizabeth W. Lieb, 100, of Mounds died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.

She was born Dec. 4, 1904, in Wickliffe, Ky., daughter of Joseph Walter and Daisy Vaden Futrell Farley. She married Henry Lieb Sr., who died in 1992.

Lieb was a member and former Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Mounds.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Goodlin of Mound City, Ill., Lucy Klosterman of Mounds; two sons, Henry Lieb Jr. of Rockford, Ill., Robert Lieb of Wickliffe, Ky.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at First Baptist Church from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Buddy Walls and Verlee Eaker officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
