Funeral Mass for Elizabeth E. Kiefner will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at Old St. Vincent Church by Msgr. Richard Rolwing. Burial will be in Home Cemetery at Perryville.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Chapel today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Kiefner, 88, of 3120 Independence, died Thursday afternoon, July 2, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 3, 1903, at Malden, daughter of Thomas and Susan Eastwood Kent.
She married Edwin L. Kiefner in June 1928 at Malden. He died June 17, 1972.
She was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and taught school at Thayer, Elvins, Perryville and Sereno. She was active in activities at Perryville, where she spent most of her life. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1983.
She was a member of Old St. Vincent Parish.
Survivors are a son, Edwin K. Kiefner, Perryville; a daughter, Ann Tews, Homewood, Ill.; a sister, Sarah Nourse, Wilmington, Del.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
