Elenora Miesner

FARRAR, Mo. -- Elenora M. Miesner, 84, of Farrar died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at her home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Hoxie, Kan., daughter of Erich and Sophie Gaede Mueller. She and Edmund C. Miesner were married June 1, 1946.

Mrs. Miesner was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Farrar.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clifford (Eileen) Miesner of Farrar, Kenneth (Yvonne) Miesner and Earl Miesner of Perryville; two daughters, Jeanette (Fred) Haley of Perryville, Mo., Carol (Cheryl) Lorenz of Farrar; four brothers, Reinhold and Marvin Mueller of Perryville, Eldor Mueller of Arnold, Mo., Norman Mueller of Cuba, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Lutheran Hour Ministries or Saxony Lutheran High School.
