MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Eleanora Cleo Shell, 90, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 24, 1914, in Lutesville, Mo., daughter of the Rev. Arthur L. and Willie Francis Shell. She and Woodrow Wilson Shell were married Dec. 25, 1934. He died July 13, 1972.
Shell was a member of New Sylvan General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Edward Shell of McClure, Ill.; a daughter, Euva Brown of Marble Hill; a brother, Alvie Shell of Doniphan, Mo.; a sister, Gladys Elledge of Marble Hill; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Revs. Jim Fulbright and Sheldon Owen officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
