Eleanor E. Sadorf, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born June 12, 1916, in St. Louis, daughter of Harry and Ida Nichel Boehm. She and Matt Sadorf were married Sept. 3, 1939, in St. Louis. He died April 28, 1999.
Sadorf was of the Protestant faith. She was a former Brownie leader and member of Job's Daughters. She volunteered for many years at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in St. Louis.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Paul) Giebler of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Brevin Giebler of Cape Girardeau, Matt Sadorf of Wentzville, Mo., Brian Sadorf of O'Fallon, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Sadorf of Florida; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Kenneth Sadorf, in 2001.
Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mausoleum in St. Louis.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
