Eleanor Elizabeth Feemster, 95, of Scott City died Monday, March 1, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 9, 1908, at Rich Hill, Mo., daughter of Charles M. and Margaret M. Flammang Ingram. She and Floyd Raymond Feemster were married Feb. 9, 1928, in Little Rock, Ark. He died April 10, 1964.
Mrs. Feemster had been a licensed practical nurse at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ladies Society of Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, and St. Francis Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Phyllis Feemster of Saratoga, Calif., Bob and Mary Feemster of Jackson; three granddaughters, Dr. Margaret "Betty" Feemster, Karen Feemster, Heather and Dom Feemster-Mastropierro; and a great-grandson, Christian Mastropierro.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 6:30.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
