ELDOR HAERTLING

NEW WELLS - Eldor Haertling, 87, died at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau Friday, Oct. 25, 1991.

He was born May 8, 1904 in New Wells to William and Agnes Jahn Haertling.

On Nov. 20, 1927, he married Alma Meyr. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 1957.

Survivors include: three sons, Milton and Willis Haertling, both of New Wells, and Ellis Haertling of Frohna; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Theo Haertling.

He farmed all his life, retiring in 1970. He served on various committees at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells. He also served on the Immanuel Lutheran School Board.

He had lived at the Lutheran Home since 1988.

Friends may call today between 4 and 8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral services will be held Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Patzwitz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
