MARBLE HILL -- Eldon C. Roberts, 68, of Wymore, Neb., died Monday, Oct. 19, 1992, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

He was born Jan. 12, 1924, near Wymore, son of Thomas J. and Ora Roberts. He and Eileen Bomer were married May 22, 1946, in Marysville, Kan.

Roberts was a utility foreman with Natural Gas Pipeline of America. The family lived at Marble Hill 21 years, moving to Wymore in 1975. He was a member of First Baptist Church here, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Connie Roberts of Wymore; three sons, Larry Roberts of Boulder, Mont., Gary Roberts of Glen Allen, Rod Roberts of Omaha; a brother, Robert Roberts of Louisburg, Kan.; a sister, Harriet West of Cheyenne, Wyo., and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wymore Presbyterian Church.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McGee Chapel Cemetery in Marble Hill, with the Rev. John Engelhart officiating.

Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore is in charge of arrangements.
