Elda B. Masterson, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at the Lutheran Home, where she resided the past 15 months.
She was born Dec. 4, 1911, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Reuel and Nora Dell Swan Morton. She married Lester "Bud" Masterson Dec. 24, 1929, in Cairo, Ill. He died July 2, 1981.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Carole Pfeiffer of Jackson; two sisters, Ruby Moll and Vera D. Hager of Jackson; two grandsons, Travis Ward and Brent Pfeiffer of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 3:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran School.
