Funeral service for Elda Haney of Bristow, Okla., will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Schumacher Funeral Home in Bristow. The Rev. Terry Jarrard will officiate, with burial in Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow.

Haney, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Christian Otto and Emma Feuerhahn Nagel. She and William C. Haney were married Oct. 8, 1949.

Haney moved to Bristow 20 years ago from Tulsa. She attended Olive Baptist Church, and was active in Bristow Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a son, Billy Haney of Tulsa; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
