EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Elberta Culp of Arnold will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Aubrey Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Culp, 85, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Arnold.

She was born March 10, 1914, in Anniston, daughter of Omar and Ella Pepper Jenkins. She and David Haskel Culp were married March 2, 1935. He died May 9, 1970.

Culp moved to Arnold 10 years ago from East Prairie. She was a member of the Church of Christ in East Prairie.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Culp of St. Louis, Terry Culp of Chicago; a daughter, Doris Sacks of St. Louis; a sister, Leona Phillips of Rolla; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
