PATTON -- Elbert David Green, 90, of Patton, died Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 28, 1906, at Mayfield, son of David and Sarah Mayfield Green. He first married Grace Angel Dec. 29, 1928. She died in 1939. He later married Vallie Roseann Thomasson March 21, 1940. She died Jan. 19, 1988.
Green had been a timber worker and also owned and operated a store at Mayfield. He was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Quinton Robins of Marble Hill, Roy Robins of Millersville; two sisters, Delphia Angel of Marble Hill, Pearl Statler of Jackson; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Little Whitewater Church, with the Revs. Quinton Robins and Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery.
