Funeral service for Eileen Winstead, 815 Rodney Vista, was held Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Audie Long officiated, with burial in Memorial Park.
Winstead, 72, died Thursday, April 9, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 27, 1919, at Broseley, daughter of Luther and Septa Crockett Branch. She married Charles Winstead Oct. 16, 1937, at Marble Hill.
Winstead was a teachers aide at Hawthorn School 12 years. She was a member of First General Baptist Church and its Ladies Missionary Society, VFW Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Dean Winstead; a daughter, Jayne Hopkins; her mother, Septa Grugan; a brother, Luther Branch, all of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
