Eileen Kadavi

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Eileen M. Kadavi, 92, of Perryville died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Independence Care Center.

She was born Dec. 11, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of Herman C. and Bernice Zahner Kiefer. She married Herbert Grass, who died Dec. 12, 1955. She and Frank M. Kadavi were married Dec. 29, 1962. He died March 6, 1996.

Kadavi was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality at Brewer, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Ralph Grass of Perryville; two daughters, Judy Grass and Darlene Duvall of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Everett Kiefer and Herman Kiefer Jr. of Perryville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home The wake will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
