Edwina June Lacy, 80, of Scott City died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her home.
She was born Nov. 25, 1943, in McComb County, Michigan, to Isaac Cranston and Annie Catherine Casteel Clay. She and Phillip James Lacy Sr. were married May 7, 1965, in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
Edwina enjoyed sewing for her children and other children.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oran, where she was also the nursery keeper.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Lacy Sr. of Scott City; son, Phillip "Phil" (Janis) Lacy Jr. of Oran; two daughters, Paula (Jerry) Cates of Poplar Bluff and April (Mike) Sansagraw of Jackson; three brothers, David (June) Clay of Armada, Michigan, Don (Barbara) Clay of Mount Clemens and Roger (Bonnie) Clay of Ray Township, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wilma Turn.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at First Baptist Church of Oran.
Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at the church, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Inurnment will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
