CHAFFEE -- Edwin P. Vickery, 81, of Chaffee died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 15, 1917, at Chaffee, son of Charles William and Hattie Pearl Permeley Vickery. He and Mildred Wiles were married Nov. 27, 1940, at Portageville.
Vickery was employed as a pipe fitter for Missouri Utilities.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 615.
Survivors include his wife and a brother, Charles W. Vickery, both of Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a Masonic service at 7.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
