EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Edwin F. Lippmann of East Prairie will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Latham will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Lipmann, 89, died Monday, Nov. 9, 1992, at Bertrand Retirement Home.

He was born March 9, 1903, in St. Louis, son of Paul F. and Hazel Moroski Lippmann. He and Gladys Myrva Presson were married March 25, 1960.

Lippmann was a retired stock manager at Famous-Barr in St. Louis, and member of Nelson United Methodist Church here.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale Lippmann of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Roberta Hunter and Charlene Davis of East Prairie; two sisters; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
