KELSO, Mo. -- Edwin Paul "Beans" Enderle, 94, of Kelso died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Kelso, to Benjamin John and Dorothy Theresa Heuring Enderle. He and Lucille Clementine Hahn were married Nov. 5, 1935, in New Hamburg, Mo. She died Feb. 1, 2003.
Enderle was a Diesel mechanic more than 30 years at Harris Truck and Trailer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Steve (Dee) Enderle of Cape Girardeau, Jim (Linda) Enderle of Jefferson City, Mo.; two daughters, Janet (Richard) Arnzen of Kelso, Pat "Sis" (Carey) Carter of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Bill (Sis) Enderle of Scott City, Felix (Georgianna) Enderle of New Hamburg, Tom (Reba) Enderle of Cape Girardeau; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Edwin "Sonny" and Gary Wayne Enderle; a daughter, Mary Lou Chasteen; four brothers; five sisters; and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso with full military honors.
