VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Edward O. Pawlisch, 75, of Villa Ridge, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at his home.
He was born at Villa Ridge, Feb. 15, 1918, son of Oscar and Nina Minton Pawlisch.
He was a member of the Villa Ridge Union Church and VFW Post 8891 of Mounds. He was a World War II Army veteran.

Pawlisch was a soil conservationist 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Johnson Pawlisch, and a son, James Pawlisch of San Diego, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Jones Funeral Home of Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
