PERRYVILLE -- Edward A. Manning, 98, of Perryville died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 8, 1899, at Herculaneum. He and Georgia Sue Walker were married Oct. 27, 1939. She died Dec. 8, 1965.
Manning owned and operated Manning Drug Store from 1946-63.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Manning of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday after 6:30 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
