Edward Andrew Lottes, 90, of the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born May 4, 1902, in Perry County, son of Andrew and Bertha Dockins Lottes.

He was married Nov. 23, 1925, to Prisca (Bobbie) Seib.

Lottes was the former owner and operator of Ed's Bar on Good Hope Street in Cape Girardeau.

He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David J. Lottes of Sanibel Island, Fla.; two daughters, Mary Clark of Cape Girardeau, Doris M. Hahn of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Dr. J.O. Lottes of St. Louis; two sisters, Bertha Owens of San Diego, Calif., Lou Hotop of San Diego, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m., and the Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with Father Michael Zoellner officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
