Edward A. Polack Jr., 73, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born March 22, 1921, the son of Edward A. and Anita Brune Polack.
He was a native of Cape Girardeau, a fourth generation Polack and fifth generation Brune.
He was an avid enthusiast of history and genealogy. He graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School and Southeast Missouri Teachers College.
He was associated with the family business, E.A. Polack Plumbing and Heating Co. Inc., from 1933 to 1989. He was a journeyman plumber and steamfitter with local 318.
He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity Men's Club.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Polack, Cape Girardeau, two sisters, Ruth Ann McCain, Crestwood, and Helen Polack, Cape Girardeau.
One sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
