PUXICO, Mo. -- Edna Stilts Wineinger, 84, of Puxico died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at her home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1916, at Arab, Mo., daughter of Perry Francis and Alma Mae Shell Staats. She and Dale Stilts were married April 4, 1942.. He died March 24, 1974. She and H.C. "Junior" Wineinger were married April 19,1980, at Puxico. He died Nov. 22, 2000.
Wineinger was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church, and former member of Eastern Star at Zalma, Mo.
Survivors include a son, David Stilts of Wappapello, Mo.; two daughters, Marilyn Bishop of Memphis, Tenn., Marlene Martin of Edwardsville, Ill.; two brothers, Homer Staats of St. Louis, Harold Staats of Zalma; three sisters, Katheryn Fish and Stella Pittman of Zalma, Rosalee Chambers of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Puxico from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery at McGee, Mo.
