EDNA STEVENS

PERRYVILLE -- Edna Mae Stevens, 67, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 17, 1932, in St. Louis, daughter of Carless and Bessie Robinson Batey. She and Roy A. Glass were married Sept. 10, 1949. He died in June 1961. She then married Leonard Stevens June 10, 1968. He died March 16, 1975.

Stevens was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Glass and John Stevens of Perryville, Richard Glass of Sparta, Ill.; two daughters, Rachel Mathis of Collinsville, Ill., Ruth Glass of Rockwood, Ill.; two sisters, Audrey Cazares and Nancy Batey of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Christian Cemetery.
