Edna Alvina Steimle, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Ratcliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 31, 1917, at Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Louis Emil and Ella Alvina Haertling Graden. She and Arthur F. Steimle were married May 2, 1952, at Cape Girardeau. He died July 20, 1992.
Steimle was employed by Superior Electric as a shipping clerk. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ. Steimle was a member of the Bible study and Sunday school class.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanna Scherer of Jackson; a brother, Victor Graden of Bettendorf, Iowa; four sisters, Ruby Doughty of Cape Girardeau, Helen Strack of San Diego, Calif., Ruth Daume of Perryville, Mo., Esther Morie of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Cape Girardeau County.
