CAIRO, Ill. -- Edna M. Clancy Porter, 91, of Cairo passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Edna was born April 6, 1928, in Villa Ridge, Illinois, the daughter of George and Louise Behrandt Clancy.
She was retired as a nurse from St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo and Daystar Nursing Home.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pace of Wake Village, Texas; granddaughters, Nicole Pace and Jessica Pace-Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert W. Porter; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
