EDNA MAE WILSON

EAST PRAIRIE -- Edna Mae Mansfield Wilson, 70, of Berthoud, Colo., formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, April 19, 1996, at her residence.

She was born July 20, 1925, in East Prairie, the daughter of Charley and Ruby Bowles Mansfield. On April 17, 1943, in New Madrid, she married Russell Elmo Wilson. He died March 16, 1992.

Wilson had lived in Berthoud for the past four years.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne Wilson of Loveland, Colo., Russell Wilson of Cushing, Okla., and Darrell Wilson of Morehouse; two daughters, Dorothy White of Marble Hill and Linda Ashenbrenner of Berthoud; a brother, Jerry Mansfield of Akron, Ohio; three sisters, Lula F. Maestas of Bell City, and Margie Wilson and Nadine Brasher, both of Piedmont; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Buddy Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
