Edna C. Hey, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born July 24, 1920, in Coffeyville, Kan., to Bert and Eva Richarz Chaney. She was one of 17 children.
She and Lynn LeRoy Hey were married Oct. 22, 1938, in Nowata, Okla. He preceded her in death March 7, 2009.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Kage Extension Club (FCE Homemakers) and Laureate Alpha Rho Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffery (Mary) Hey of St. Louis, Everett (Tina) Hey of Jackson; six grandchildren, Brian Hey, Mark (Jaclyn) Hey and Erin (Ben) Hankins, all of St. Louis, Megan (Mark) Westman of Chicago, Christina Hey of Salem, Ore., Heather Hey of St. Louis; four stepgrandchildren, Jacob (Chrystal) LeGrand of Plano, Texas, Robert (Chelsey) LeGrand of Jackson, Michael LeGrand of Little Rock, Ark., Christopher LeGrand of Forked River, N.J.; and a great-grandchild, Ella Hankins of St. Louis.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Sullenger officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
