Edna Harwood, 75, of Florida died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla.
She was born March 12, 1925, in Canalou, Mo., daughter of James and Thelma Lacey Presson. She and Thomas Harwood were married in 1943 in St. Louis. He died April 24, 1996.
Mrs. Harwood was a former resident of Charter Oak and had lived in St. Louis, where she worked for McDonell Douglas for 25 years. She moved to Port Orange, Fla., in 1993.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Florida.
Survivors include one son, Danny Harwood, and one daughter, Gail Glackin, both of Port Orange; one half brother, Amil Britton of Essex, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Bros. Jack Simon and Dale Grissom will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
