BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Edna Aline Green, 85, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 9, 1918, in Advance, Mo., daughter of James William and Carrie Marie Gamble Hawkins. She and Barney Green were married April 21, 1933, at Marble Hill, Mo. He died March 3, 1988.
Green lived in the Advance and Bloomfield areas most of her life.
Survivors include seven sons, John, Bill, Barney, and Gary Green, all of Bloomfield, Jerry Green of St. Charles, Mo., Donald Green of St. Louis, Roy Green of Bell City, Mo.; eight daughters, Wanda Powers of Advance, Shelby Compas of Scott City, Dixie Billingsley of Dexter, Mo., Sharon Gigar and Doris Lacy of Bell City, Faye Cockrell of Glenallen, Mo., Sue Adams of Steel, Mo., and Linda Harvey of Bloomfield; 33 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a great-great-granddaughter, seven brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
