PERRYVILLE -- Edna G. Galnore, 80, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1918, at Wittenberg, daughter of Herman and Paula Grebing Thurm. She married Norman G. Galnore on Sept. 29, 1940. He died Nov. 9, 1981.
She was a homemaker and belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Rural Mail Carriers Auxiliary in Perryville.
She is survived by two daughters, Eleanore Schmidt of Carson City, Calif., and Nona Abernathy of Jackson; two sons, Gene Galnore of Jackson and Wardell Galnore of Kansas City; three brothers, Harry Thurm of Willsboro, N.Y., Harvey Thurm of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and George Thurm of Altenburg; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband and sister preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville and from 6:30 a.m. until the service on Monday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
