DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Edna Claycomb, 91, of Diehlstadt died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 23, 1913, in Diehlstadt, daughter of John and Ada Cooper Michael. She and Henry Claycomb were married April 16, 1930, in Cairo, Ill. He died Dec. 3, 1984.
Claycomb was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Emmett Claycomb of Diehlstadt; two daughters, Eleanor Murphy of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Diane Wells of Diehlstadt; a brother, Max Michael of Charleston; a sister, Marie Bollinger of Benton, Mo.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, a great-grandson and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry's Catholic Church, with Monsignor Stephen Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Charleston.
