CREVE COEUR, Ill. -- Edna Mae Carroll, 71, of Creve Coeur died Friday, April 21, 2000, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
She was born Oct. 29, 1928, at Scott City, daughter of William and Eva Stallings Graham. She and Leo Carroll were married Jan. 22, 1945, at Cape Girardeau.
She had worked as a machinist for Champion Furnace in Peoria, Ill., for 17 years before her retirement in 1985. She had been a resident of Creve Coeur since 1968.
Survivors include her husband, of Creve Coeur; two sons, Willard Carroll of Creve Coeur and David Carroll of Hillsboro, Mo.; one daughter, Darlene Carroll of Peoria; one brother, Alfred Graham of Pekin; two sisters, Helen Whittaker of Manto and Pauline Kinder of Granite City; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Chapel.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Randol officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
