POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Edna Mae Burton, 57, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 22, 1944, at Anniston, Mo., daughter of Albert and Helen Gibson Coram. She and William D. Burton were married Dec. 23, 1964. He died Nov. 20, 1987.
Burton was a retired factory worker at the International Hat Factory in Oran, Mo.
Survivors include her mother; a son, Billy Burton of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Terry Pemberton of Diehlstadt, Mo., and Lisa Wills of Poplar Bluff; five brothers, Sonny Coram of Poplar Bluff, Terry Piatt of Poplar Bluff, Larry Coram of Oran, Mo., Richard Coram of Cape Girardeau and Elvis Coram of Lounds, Mo.; five sisters, Judy Parker of Alpine, Calif., and Cletus Bushnell, Norma Wilson, Kathy Henson and Carol Langston, all of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Friend Cemetery in Oran, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.
