JACKSON -- Edna Mae Brugger, 86, of Jackson died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

Funeral Mass was held Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial was in Russell Heights Cemetery.

She was born July 17, 1913, in Scott City, daughter of William and Anna Peetz Sanders. On June 2, 1936, she married Martin Leo Brugger. He died June 9, 1978.

Survivors include a son, Bill Brugger of Smithland, Ky.; two daughters Judy Horrell and June Brown of Jackson; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter.

She had been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
