KARNAK, Ill. -- Graveside service for Edith Summers of Vienna, formerly of Karnak, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lower Salem Cemetery in Boaz. The Rev. Shawn Wasson will officiate. There is no visitation. Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements...

KARNAK, Ill. -- Graveside service for Edith Summers of Vienna, formerly of Karnak, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lower Salem Cemetery in Boaz. The Rev. Shawn Wasson will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.

Summers, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

She was the daughter of Fred and Sally Mathis Little.

Summers was a member of the United Methodist Church in Karnak.

Survivors include two sons, Don Summers of Karnak, Ken Summers of Forsythe, Mo.; two sisters, Madge Sammons of Paducah, Ky., Millie Johnston of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
