JONESBORO, Ill. -- Edith N. Wilson, 76, of Elkville, died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, at her home.

She was born April 14, 1916, in Union County, daughter of John and Mary Susan Beard Rosenthal. She and Thomas E. Wilson were married Dec. 3, 1937, at Jackson, Mo. He died in 1967.

Wilson retired in 1980 from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna. She was a member of Elkville Baptist Church and its WMU.

Survivors include a daughter, Earlene Adams of Elkville; three sons, Thomas Wilson of Lake Station, Ind., Joseph Wilson of Alto Pass, Gerald Wilson of Beach Wood, N.J.; two brothers, Estel Rosenthal of Anna, George Rosenthal of Grandview, Mo.; a sister, Gertrude Vincent of Wolf Lake; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elkville Baptist Church. The Rev. Terry Tacker will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin after 10 a.m. Saturday.
