EDITH MOORE

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Edith Marie Moore, 92, of Perryville died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 16, 1908, in Perryville, daughter of John and Mary Cora Brewer Nienhaus. She and Leonard E. Moore were married Aug. 2, 1927. He died April 14, 1991.

Moore was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Mo., and the Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include five sons, Eldon J. Moore and John E. Moore, both of Perryville, Thomas L. Moore of Gladstone, Mo., Gene R. Moore of Bloomington, Ill., and James F. Moore of Maryland Heights, Mo.; two daughters, Mary E. Parres of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Shirley M. Schleper of Alton, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic wake service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
