BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- Edith G. Meyer, 93, of Bonne Terre died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Mo.

She was born Jan. 19, 1909, in Bisbee, Ariz., daughter of Fred and Marguerite Barbey Buscher.

She was married to Louis F. Meyer, who preceded her in death.

A member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Bonne Terre, she also belonged to the Nannie Lotz Circle, Methodist Quilters and St. Francois County Extension Club.

She was a volunteer for Red Cross blood drives and Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Skaggs of Bonne Terre, Rosemary Williams of Midland, Texas; four sons, Donald and George Meyer, both of Desloge, Mo., Charles Meyer of Decatur, Ill., and William Meyer of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a great-grandson.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Bonne Terre, with the Rev. John Hoos officiating. Burial will be in Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
