EDITH LAWRENCE

PERRYVILLE - Edith Lawrence, 91, of Kaskaskia Island, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 18, at the American Care Nursing Center in Perryville.

She was born Sept. 23, 1900, at St. Marys, to John and Lena Rhone Blandford.

On May 1, 1916, she married Perl "P.J." Lawrence. He preceded her in death in 1972.

Survivors include two daughters, Alberta Wilson and Dorothy Burch, both of Perryville, and a grandson whom she raised, Ron Doza of Kaskaskia Island. Also surviving are six other grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 1-9 p.m., today. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m., today, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., in the Miller Family Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Henry Grodecki, C.M., officiating. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery at St. Marys.
