EDITH I. HOLDMAN

ANNA, Ill. -- Edith Irene Holdman, 85, of Anna, died Friday, July 5, 1991, at Union County Nursing Home here.

She was born Feb. 25, 1906, in Chester County, Tenn., daughter of Wilborn and Sally Ross Seaton. She married Claude Holdman Nov. 17, 1928. He died Sept. 27, 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Humphrey and Annette Eaton of Anna; two sons, Danny Holdman of Anna, William Holdman of Clinton, Ky.; a half sister, Mary Seaton of Lexington, Tenn., a half brother, Orville Seaton of Chicago; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudene Weimer, June 13, 1985.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McGinnis Cemetery, with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating.
